Only Medicare insurance requires a prescription from your doctor for physical therapy. OSP has a direct access license which allows us to see a patient for 30 days without a prescription. This allows you to just call to come in without additional expenses or delay of care.
The best part is that unless you are a post-surgical patient very few of our patients require care beyond that time.
We accept most insurances as noted below. If you have questions or need clarification feel free to call and talk with us first.
Aetna (EPO, PPO, POS

Please bring your insurance card, a prescription for therapy (if you have one) from your doctor.

To help expedite your care, and maximize the time we have with you please print and complete the intake forms located on our forms tab.

Initial Evaluation: We allot an hour for all initial evaluations. This allows enough time to truly understand your problem and the impact it has on your life. Also we provide treatment within that session to get you started on the road to recovery immediately.

Follow-up Appointments: Every visit we re-evaluate our patients to determine the effectiveness of the intervention we provided, and adjust care based upon those assessments. A one size fits all approach is not effective care. You can expect follow-up sessions to be between 30-45 minutes on average.

It is important that clothing does not restrict movement of the area we are evaluating or treating. For example if we need to assess your hip, jeans would not be appropriate, however sweat pants or shorts would be fine.
